Learn Who We Are

  • Rob R. Lafferty

    Dr. Lafferty grew up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City where he attended the prestigious Stuyvesant High School. His family moved to the South and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Zoology from the University of Georgia in 1976. Dr. Lafferty then went onto veterinary school at UGA and graduated in 1981.

  • Michael Bowes

    Dr. Bowes received his undergraduate degree in business from University of Georgia before working for Dr. Lafferty for 2 years. He earned his DVM from University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and is proud to start his career at Lafferty Animal Clinic.

  • Meredith

    Meredith graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelors degree in Social Work in 2008.  However, her love for animals brought her into the veterinary field.  She started working at Lafferty Animal Clinic in 2010 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2017.

  • Julie

    Julie joined the Lafferty Animal Clinic team in 2004.  Some of her responsibilities include assisting the doctors with appointments, providing client and patient care, inventory maintenance, ordering, scheduling, and overseeing daily clinical operations.
